Match report:
It would have been easy for our boys to have put in a tired performance and go out with a whimper after a late night at the presentation. But our boys remained focused on the prize, two league positions could be gained with our last game of the season and we took the chance with both hands.

A 5.1 win was a great result against a side that beat us 2.0 earlier in the season, but that was before we started to gel as the team we are now!

Congratulations to Rhys for an outstanding display of attacking quality with 4 goals, also to Jake Webster who put in the kind of performance he was renowned for at the beginning of the season to end on a real high with a goal.

Unfortunately, the game was conceded at half time as our opponents struggled with injuries and numbers for the second half.

Andy and I would like to apologise to all the lads who didn't get to play the second half as we had planned to swap it over as per usual but we hope you enjoyed the fun game we had after instead!

What a great season it was, we are proud of each and every player in our team and are grateful for our amazing parents who turned out to support us every week.

Here's to picking up where we left off next season and to England winning the world cup!

We'll have a break for a couple of weeks now but we plan to continue training through the summer so that we sprint out of the blocks next season.

Thanks for your support and to all of our players who have been magnificent.
